Page 457 - June 26, 2013

Isn't this nice? We haven't taken a peek at what's going on in the spirit world for a while. It's not going too well.

Nnngh, I'm getting pretty nervous about this impending move (S-Sunday!). My room is finally all packed up and there's not too much left to do on that front, just a few last minute things here and there such as wrapping my computer in bubble wrap and trying to fit everything in my mom's little car. But I feel like the nervousness is attempting to render me lethargic, so I'm trying to keep as busy as I can by working on last-minute SSSS stuff before I start drawing the actual pages. Here's some quick main character portraits I painted yesterday:

Not drawn in the actual style that the comic will be in, I'll want linearts for that, painting like this is just a bit easier way to render something. Not that linearts would have added too much difficulty, I know these characters pretty well by now. Still not telling their names, because they're kind of spoilery in a way. :B

By the way, I'm finally super ready to start drawing SSSS now. There's a part of me that still thinks I need to do a second practice comic, but I'm nor listening to that voice anymore. I already have a finalized script for the 50+ page prologue,(that's the hardest part, so I'm glad it's done) thumbnail sketches for the first 10 pages and I know how I want to draw the pages. This means  I'm ready to start the moment my move to Sweden is complete, in less than two weeks. S-so nervous! Ah, that reminds me, I need to draw sketches of the characters that actually do appear in the prologue (because none of the main characters will) rather than just winging it, like I've done every time a new character appears in aRTD. That's what I'll work on today.

But guhhh, it's way too hot in my room, 27 degrees celsius. Better open the wind- noope, 29 degrees outside, in the shadow. Better keep that closed. o_o
